The synth that defined bass music, this powerhouse synthesizer is an uncompromising sonic monster and the go-to choice for bass music and electro producers. On a side note: To use one controller for MIDI and Automation (Control Link) I've set all my devices up like described on this page: Control Automation and MIDI with one device.Īlso this post: Instant Kontakt with the Control Link describes how you can easily connect non defined host automation parameters from a VST with those kind of parameters, like AT3, but also Kontakt, ST3, Halion etc.A time-honoured taste of what the world’s leading production suite has to offer, packing MASSIVE, ABSYNTH5, FM8, and REPLIKA, to give you a rack of genre-defining instruments that sound as fresh as ever. Or you could use basic CC learn as long as your external device isn't mapped to Studio One's Control Link system. I don't know about AT4, but I suspect you can attach the host automation parameters to the control link system the same way as AT3 if you prefer automation over MIDI control. Rule of thumb in Studio One: When an external MIDI controller is mapped to the control link system it won't work as MIDI controller for Instrument tracks and the other way around.ĪT3 can be controlled by CC (from an Instrument track) and/or Automation (no extra track needed), just what you want (or your gear/setup prefers). Whoever's business is most affected by this I guess would want it fixed. Like a button to enable midi learn in conjunction with control link, I dunno. but maybe it is Presonus' issue, there are other synths with midi learn out there that don't work well with control link. I really wish I didn't need a second track for this, IK makes me go grrrrr. Now, you should be able to use the LEARN option (Lower left hand corner) to assign the Bypass of any of the Stomp section pedals inside of AmpliTube 4īraj wroteAh thanks, that did it. Inside here go to the Control Change section Global Pedal bypass control (For your Wah pedals) How - To:

Lastly, make sure to Record arm your Instrument track and you should be able to use AmpliTube 4's LEARN function Now, inside the I/O section of the Instrument Track set this to your MIDI controller and then the Output to AmpliTube 4 Create an Audio Track and add AmpliTube 4 as an Insert Note* Let me know if you need any extra assistance with this. If you are having trouble with any pedal Bypass you can use the MIDI page's Global Control section to toggle any individual Stomp Slot's bypass control (Steps also below). Specifically I'm trying to access the Wah's bypass settings:ĭo note, when using Studio One you will need to create an Instrument Track to send MIDI to AmpliTube (Steps below). My controllers work fine for everything else. The service rep at IK said it is working for him, so I am wondering what I'm doing wrong.

These are the instructions I got from IK, which also are not working for me, Midi Learn never learns, only controls mappable internally in A4 to Param values can be seen by Studio One. I'm trying to get Studio One to recognize some parameters in IK's Amplitude 4, these aren't available in Studio One's controller mapping parameters, so doing the normal linking won't work.
